Ana-Maria is a dedicated and skilled paralegal with over two years of experience supporting solicitors in family law, immigration, Wills, LPAs, and non- contentious Probate matters. She earned a First-Class Law degree in 2022 and is currently pursuing the LPC with a Master’s degree as she works towards qualifying as a solicitor.
In her role, Ana-Maria provides comprehensive legal support, including legal research, drafting documentation, and client liaison, ensuring the seamless management of cases. Her strong academic background and hands-on experience allow her to deliver high-quality assistance and contribute effectively to the firm’s objectives. Committed to continuous professional growth, she strives to provide exceptional support to both clients and colleagues.

Louise has over 30 years of experience working in legal support. She has a keen eye to improve processes and procedures which makes life considerably easier for Yomi.
Legal Assistant (Immigration Law)
Layal joined Owens Solicitors in January 2025 on a part-time basis while pursuing her qualification as a solicitor through the Solicitors Qualifying Examination (SQE) route. Alongside her studies, she is gaining valuable hands-on experience and provides essential support to the Immigration Law team.
Her passion for helping individuals and families through the often complex immigration process is reflected in her empathetic approach and strong work ethic. Layal is dedicated to developing her legal knowledge while making a positive difference in clients’ lives.
Prior to joining Owens Solicitors, Layal earned her Bachelor’s degree in Law from a U.S. university, equipping her with a broad, international legal perspective. She brings a unique blend of academic knowledge and practical insight to her role.
Layal is fluent in Arabic, which enables her to assist a wider range of clients and communicate effectively with those for whom English is not a first language.
She is excited to continue her journey toward qualification while contributing meaningfully to the firm’s client-focused ethos.
Trainee Solicitor
Patrick joined Owens Solicitors in April 2025 as a Trainee Solicitor, bringing with him a strong academic background and a genuine passion for helping clients navigate complex legal matters. As he works through his training contract, Patrick is gaining hands-on experience across a range of practice areas, including family law, immigration, and private client work.
He is known for his attention to detail, approachable manner, and commitment to delivering clear, practical advice. Patrick takes pride in supporting clients during what are often challenging times and is dedicated to building trust through professionalism and empathy.
Before beginning his training contract, Patrick completed his law degree and went on to achieve strong results in the Legal Practice Course. He is enthusiastic about developing his skills further under the guidance of the experienced team at Owens Solicitors.
Outside of work, Patrick enjoys spending time with his young son and values the balance between his professional life and being an engaged and supportive parent.
