Our Family Law Fees

We appreciate that not many people will have specifically set money set aside in order to meet the legal fees incurred in a family law or divorce matter, and that the majority of cases will not qualify for legal aid.

The legal aid budget has been slashed (or greatly reduced) by the government and it is not available for many Family law cases. To qualify, you will be means tested to show that you cannot afford to pay legal costs. You will also have to prove the seriousness of your case for example that social services are applying for a care order, supervision order or emergency protection order in relation to your children or you have been a victim of domestic violence.

As so few cases are now eligible for legal aid, we, therefore, aim to offer flexibility with our charging structure by offering fixed fees for some of our work and we are also able to offer our clients with flexible payment arrangement where possible.

We will also act for clients who have the benefit of a litigation loan.

Our hourly rates range from £185 – £300 depending on the level and qualification of the fee-earner that is dealing with your matter.
